What some people don't know, is that George is also a virtuoso guitarist, who has performed with Shirley Bassey, Rowan & Martin, Sid Caesar, Imogene Coca, Nancy Wilson, Leon Bibb, The Fifth Dimension, and many other stars. He has played with numerous Broadway shows including: New Vaudevillians, Pajama Game, Grease, A Chorus Line, and They're Playing Our Song. He has had over 100 guitar-related articles published and is the former Head of the Guitar Program at York College of the City University of New York.
