George Bien's hypnosis graduate Lennie (above), was casually sitting on one of those large exercise balls, she slipped back and hit the top of her spinal column in such a way (one shot in a million) that her head was literally disconnected from her spinal cord. If she had moved a fraction of an inch in any direction, her head would have literally disconnected completely!

Dr. George Bien was the Principal Trainer for the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) from 1988 - 1994.
He created and taught NGH's first Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy (ACH) Certification Seminars!

George Bien was the first person in history to be honored with the prestigious, National Guild of Hypnotists' "President's Award" (1988), and was the cover story of the Journal of Hypnotism (see below). National Guild of Hypnotists President's Award
Two years later (1990), The National Guild of Hypnotists unveiled its Newest Award, made by the same company that makes the "Oscar" for the Academy Awards. It was designated to be the Guild's Highest Award—the "Rexford L. North Memorial Trophy" (the Oscar of Hypnosis). George Bien was again the first person in the world to receive this honor. The Dr. Rexford L. North Memorial Trophy - the "Oscar" of Hypnosis!
